"Shut Up and Dance" is a super fun song by the band Walk The Moon from their 2014 album Talking Is Hard. It became a huge hit and was their very first song to make it into the top ten on the pop charts!
The song was inspired by a real moment and some high school memories. The band wanted it to sound playful and full of energy, just like the catchy pop-rock songs from the 1980s that make you want to get up and dance!
