The Most Loved Piano Teaching Software Solution Is Not Just For Kids.
During our initial pitch at a World Pedagogy Conference, we quickly discovered that piano teachers were a lot more stubborn than we expected. These teachers weren’t really into computers and didn’t think they needed something new.
It took two whole hours of showing them how fun and easy the game was before some of them finally said, “Ohhh, okay, this is actually pretty cool!” 😅🎮
The good news? The younger teachers totally got it right away. They were all in! 🙌
It was then when we had out big “Aha!” moment. This game wasn’t really for super serious musicians—it was for kids, grown-ups, and anyone who ever dreamed of playing music but thought it was too hard. And they knew, right then and there —we knew we had something magical. And the teachers agreed.
I teach music, but the kids don’t practice, or they become bored with music drills. Can Piano Wizard Academy help me keep the kids involved, and help them evolve musically? Does this incorporate into the current program I already use?
YES.
At Piano Wizard Academy, our lessons are the result of years of research on how to best integrate our game-based program into classroom and private study settings. It’s especially effective at helping students of all ages learn to hit the right notes at the right time—and then confidently read the music they’ve learned in standard notation. Best of all, students love practicing!
This program shines brightest in the hands of a qualified, dedicated music educator. While parents and non-music educators can make great progress with the program, the true power of Piano Wizard Academy unfolds when paired with your expert guidance.
We sincerely thank you for your interest and support in bringing quality music education to your students. As highlighted in our Music Education and Review section, participating in music education yields a wide range of positive academic and psychological benefits for students.
Our goal with Piano Wizard Academy, Summer Camps, and school, homeschool, and after-school programs is to empower all educators—both music specialists and non-specialists—with breakthrough music education technology that supports student success.
By combining the innovative Piano Wizard Method with cutting-edge software, Academy supplements, and your teaching expertise, we’re poised to spark a revolution in music education—one that will benefit students for generations to come. This proven curriculum equips you with everything needed to share this transformative experience with your students.
The included instructional video lessons reinforce your hands-on teaching and can be accessed by students both in school and at home. Plus, you can easily add your own curriculum elements to the game. Think of yourself as the coach, guiding your students to master the game they love while deepening their musical skills.
Piano Wizard Academy is designed to complement—not replace—music teachers.
Both music educators and non-music educators receive guidance on integrating the program effectively into their classes. The Piano Wizard Method helps students learn to read music through a balance of variety, repetition, and creative, fun techniques that significantly reduce dropouts.
Real music comes alive in phrasing, emotion, dynamics, and technique. It is a deeply human experience best shared in the presence of others. Remember: We often learn best by teaching, even if we’re just a step or two ahead of our students!
As a teacher, what's the best way to introduce Piano Wizard Academy to my students?
The first thing is to sign up for Affiliate Program. Some teachers GIVE OUT the full Academy to their students but recoup the cost through what they charge for lessons. (i.e. add $50 per month until the cost is recouped). As an affiliate, you would earn on that sale.
So the teacher would say go home and learn lessons one and two in Academy. When they come back the next week, the student should be able to play lessons one and two on the piano already. Then the teacher takes over from there (theory, fundamentals, technique, etc)
If the teacher knows how to create MIDI files, they could take some of their own curriculum and they could put them in the game and teach the song. Please contact us if you have any questions.
