I teach music, but the kids don’t practice, or they become bored with music drills. Can Piano Wizard Academy  help me keep the kids involved, and help them evolve musically? Does this incorporate into the current program I already use?

YES. The Academy lessons were designed after years of research as to how to best utilize the game in a classroom or private study setting. It is especially good at teaching students of all ages to hit the right notes at the right time, and then to READ the songs they learned in musical notation. Best of all, they LOVE to practice.

THIS IS THE BEST USE OF THE ACADEMY, in the hands of a qualified dedicated music educator, even though non-music educators and parents can make great strides on their own.

It's a proven curriculum that affords the teacher all the tools needed to share this experience with their students.

The instructional video lessons reinforce the hands-on instruction and can be viewed, and practiced at school and home. The teacher can even add their own curriculum to the game.  Just think of yourself as a coach, guiding the students to play the game they love better.

Piano Wizard Academy products DO NOT replace music teachers, nor were they ever intended to do so. Both non-music and music educators are guided in the integration of this program into their music education classes. The Piano Wizard Method allows the student to learn to read music notation through a combination of variety and repetition, using a creative and fun technique designed to reduce the attrition rate significantly.

Real music is in the phrasing, the emotion, the dynamics, and the technique. It is a fundamentally shared human experience that is best created in the presence of others. We learn best by teaching, even if we are only an hour or two ahead of our students!

As a teacher, what's the best way to introduce Piano Wizard Academy to my students?

The first thing is to sign up for Affiliate Program.  Some teachers GIVE OUT the full Academy to their students but recoup the cost through what they charge for lessons.   (i.e. add $50 per month until the cost is recouped).  As an affiliate, you would earn on that sale.

So the teacher would say go home and learn lessons one and two in Academy.  When they come back the next week, the student should be able to play lessons one and two on the piano already.  Then the teacher takes over from there (theory, fundamentals, technique, etc)

If the teacher knows how to create MIDI files, they could take some of their own curriculum and they could put them in the game and teach the song.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
