🎹 Bring Piano Wizard Academy to Your Classroom

A Proven, Flexible Music Solution for K-12 Music Teachers

Piano Wizard Academy’s success isn’t just for home use—it’s a powerful tool that can be replicated in classrooms and music labs around the world. Unlike most music programs, our 100-Song Repertoire is accessible for students of all grade levels, from kindergarten through high school.

Our step-by-step curriculum, called Academy Music, includes 80 carefully designed lessons that require no prior music experience and progress to upper-elementary level classical keyboard pieces. We also offer 20 additional lessons focused on keyboard etudes and performance challenges to keep students engaged.

Flexible for Your Classroom Schedule:

  • Recommended Class Frequency: Two class meetings per week

  • Younger Students: 30-minute sessions

  • Older Students: 60-minute sessions

  • Pacing: The 100 lessons can span multiple semesters for younger students or be completed in a shorter timeframe by older or advanced students.

For students who wish to go further, our Advanced Mode unlocks limitless learning opportunities, including the ability to download and play additional music pieces.

Perfect for Classroom or Independent Study:

  • Ideal Setup: School computer labs or individual workstations

  • Younger Students: Best in group instruction and performance settings

  • Older Students: Great for independent study with headphones

  • Supports Effective Practice: Game-based design builds independent practice habits and keeps students motivated

Introducing our Academy piano Teachers Don and Delayna Beattie and their insightful thoughts on music in schools.

Music Before Theory

One of the coolest things about Piano Wizard Academy is you don’t have to be a music expert to teach it! Just watch the easy-to-follow videos and let the students play the game. 🎮🎹

Plus, older students can become awesome mentors and help the younger ones along the way. It’s a fun, team effort that makes learning music a blast for everyone! 🎉👫

"If you care about students doing well academically, preparing them for careers, and helping them be successful in life, music is the pathway to open them up for learning in the first place. Practicing an instrument every day gives you discipline, learning to read music is learning a new language which makes it easier to learn other languages, and by playing in a group ensemble you learn to work with other people."

I remember years ago when I personally witnessed a "Boot Camp" session of Piano Wizard Academy at a nearby school and wow! Seeing those little 5 and 6 year olds who had never played piano just blossom in one week. They played the Piano Wizard, they sang, they enjoyed. In other words they had a blast! Learning should always be that much fun! Yes, folks, let's share the word and spread the magic to many, many more kids. Thanks, Chris, for following where your heart (and brains) led you.

🎹 A Solution to Music Student Dropout Rates

Research shows that traditional piano lessons often face dropout rates as high as 80%. Beyond the high attrition, many former students carry lasting emotional scars—frustration, discouragement, and even shame from early music experiences that didn’t work for them.

Piano Wizard Academy changes that story.

As Delyana Beattie, co-creator of Piano Wizard Academy, shared:
"The success of this program—for teachers, college mentors, parents, and especially the children—has been undeniable."

One remarkable statistic speaks for itself:
In a 14-week voluntary program, not a single student (ages 3 to 10) or college mentor dropped out. In fact, the children couldn’t wait to sign up for the next semester.

"I encourage every piano teacher to imagine this: What if you had zero dropouts? What if every student was eager and excited to come to class?" Delyana asked.

With Piano Wizard, we’ve seen:

  • Kids teaching other kids

  • Students asking for extra practice time

  • Joyful classrooms where students want to keep playing and learning

These are results far beyond what we typically see in traditional private lessons.

Piano Wizard offers a refreshing, student-centered approach that engages and retains young learners—opening doors to long-term musical success and making the learning journey joyful for everyone involved.

What You'll Need

  • While a single computer can be used, a Computer Lab with multiple stations is best for maximum results.
  • 1 Digital Keyboard per computer.
  • Our Piano Wizard Academy music teaching software plus additional software installs per each computer.
  • Internet access to watch the online video lessons.  While kids enjoy them, they are really meant for parents and teachers, enabling them to teach the system themselves.
  • A Piano (not necessary but strongly recommended).

Parents will be amazed at the speed of music learning as the kids perform musical recitals showing off what they learned.

Training is available via webinar, teleconference, or Skype.  Piano Wizard Academy Bach2School is revolutionizing music programs for schools. Let your school join the revolution.
