Piano Wizard Step One Demo. YES, even YOU can play the piano!

This is a scaled down FLASH demonstration of STEP ONE of our Piano Wizard video game learning method. You may think the layout looks familiar, but don't be fooled by imitators.

The REAL magic occurs through our progressive teaching method of step 1 - 4 - and finally, STEP 5 when you take the sheet music over to a real piano. (a real piano is not necessary for use with the game - you can use your digital keyboard in free-play mode). In this demo, just use your mouse or computer keyboard in place of a digital keyboard.

You have a virtual piano keyboard up on top, and a real MIDI piano keyboard in front of you (M-audio, Casio, Yamaha, etc). connected to your computer via USB or USB-TO-MIDI cable. The color-coded keyboard stickers match the virtual keyboard in the game. The object is simply to hit the right key on the real keyboard just when the object (balloon, caterpillar, note, etc) hits the appropriate virtual key.

  • Unlimited graphic variations possible.
  • Can use virtually any song to play game (MIDI files).
  • Songs can be slowed down and simplified by user till anyone (even you!) can do it well.
  • Gradual intuitive transition to standard musical notation. user learns song, then learns to read musical notation. perpendicular relation of piano to standard notation is now conditioned and natural.
